"Memories"
Chris and Rex McCaskill, of Castle Path Quilting, have done the research, now they will share with us their knowledge of heirloom products and some samplings of their creativity. Find out how to make your own memory quilt, or get prepared for the assistance of a qualified quilt maker.  Prepare to be awed as they detail how their love of photography and quilting have come together as works of art

Information on summer programs coming soon!

Projects

Wounded Soldier Quilt Project

The guild members joined together to make lap quilts for our soldiers that have been wounded. They will be sent to San Antonio with warm wishes and gratitude for their service to our country. We couldn't be prouder of the men and woman in the Armed Forces.  See our quilts!

The Mission of the Linus Connection is to provide a handmade security blanket to every child who is in a crisis or at-risk situation in Central Texas.

Goals

The goals of the Main Street Quilt and Thread Guild are to foster the appreciation of quilts, quilting and the other fiber arts among both quilters and the public, and to provide an encouraging environment in which fiber artists can practice and exchange ideas. Our goals also include increasing the knowledge of traditional and contemporary techniques of quilting and cloth-related arts, and educating the public as to the significance, history and preservation of fiber arts as an ongoing art form.
